Explore the hobby of jewelry making.  Learn to store and arrange your jewelry making supplies.  Make a piece of jewelry using materials of your choice. Have a Show and Tell, showing off you piece and tell your friends how you designed it.

                            Junior Girls Scouts  

Earn a Jewelry Patch:

Take a Tour; visit Dragonfly Design studio for an introduction to jewelry making.  Triple-Up; make an item of jewelry that combines three (3) different materials.  Everyday Objects; make a bracelet with ordinary objects like, metal nuts & washers and paper & foil.  Something Natural; make a jewelry item out of organic material.  True Gemstones; Learn about different gemstones.  Their special meaning and special powers.  Make a Jewelry Box to store your handmade treasure.

                         Cadet Girl Scouts

Earn your Just Jewelry Patch:

Join Dragonfly Design for an afternoon of skill building.  During the program you will be looking at jewelry designs in magazines, drawing a jewelry item and choosing the materials you would like to work with.  You will learn what "findings" are and how to use them.  You will also make a piece of jewelry out of common house hold items and making your own focal bead.
