Dragonfly Design

This program highlights the rock and mineral school curriculum usually presented in May.  The program discusses rocks and minerals; their cultural and everyday uses in society; how they are all around us in nature and how some are created in laboratories.  Many rocks and minerals will be on display for the children to look at and examine.  Each student will design and make a bracelet using various rock, crystals and minerals.  All materials will be provided. 

May is a great time to present this program because of Mother's Day and the children can give their bracelet to someone special.
